Spam and Viruses

I think that some days people would not believe the numbers that are related to SPAM and Viruses if we were to tell them. Our Barracuda Service that we use on our own and our clients hosted email has stopped nearly 156 million spams in it's service lifetime. That is an INSANE amount of nuisance emails. To be more specific, yesterday the device stopped 106,000 spam email and 768 viruses that were attached to email. If you aren't a believer, you will be.

Cisco Demo and a movie

The Cisco led Partner event for Cisco and HEA clients was a HIT... I pitty the fool that missed the return of the A-Team after the unified communications presentation by the Cisco Team about designing call center applications!
I just spent the afternoon with another great company moved into Lexington. Crown Medical Management had their open house today at Eagle View Drive and they had a great turnout! We're pleased to have Crown Medical Management in Lexington and on board as strategic partner of HEA! Hats off to CEO Paul Caudill and his staff increasing the efficiency of Health Care through business practice management and technology.

War on business and innovation

I was reading Information Week this morning in my morning onboarding of news and found this article by Rob Preston to be of interest. Apple is perceived by many as the innovator, but Apple really is exercising a tight control on the their iPad platform. Quality Control or ?

LabDX Ribbon Cutting

I had the pleasure of spending my afternoon at the facility of LabDx at their ribbon cutting. LabDX has been a client of ours just close to one year and working with Rob Mudd, CEO. It was great to see the reiteration of Kentuckians working with Kentuckians today. With Gov. Beshear and Mayor Newberry on hand to make opening remarks for the facility. It's noteworthy that this was a $7 million investment project that's came to fruition to keep dollars in the medical economy local here in our economy.

Congrats to LabDX and thank you for your business with HEA and other local Kentucky businesses!
