Fraud Prevention
Continuing our quick blog posts on computer security this week, one can think of two main topics: Fraud Prevention and Data protection. Fraud prevention in this context is the actions one takes using processes or tools on the computer to prevent someone from taking your identity or personal information to impersonate you in a fradulent act. Data protection relates to the tools and processes to protect the data on your computer from being lost or destroyed from accident, theft or equipment failure. More later, but that is the setup.
